Something that is really irking me is seeing many OSU brethren defeatedly stating that "Michigan won this one, we lost this one." Now, on the face of it, yes, they did get away with the cheating. But celebrating getting away with cheating is nothing to be proud of. It's not a "win". On the contrary, they've been forced to throw away their morals and principles in order to continue supporting their team and validate their ill-gotten title. On a human level, they have reduced themselves to scum. They are unscrupulous, immoral human beings. Their facade of superior ethics and morality has been eradicated.
Conversely, OSU fans can hold their heads high and enjoy a guilt-free conscious knowing that they won their title fairly and in the most incredible fashion. There is no asterisk attached to our title. In the CFB community, no one will ever respect Michigan's title. Meanwhile, OSU's title run is unanimously perceived as one of, if not the most difficult journeys to a title in CFB history.
Michigan has cemented themself as the pariah of college football and their fan base has cemented themself as the most ignoble, immoral group in the sport.
