Just like last year, I'm doing the 'Tickets as Low As' week by week for the Big Ten (or it it B1G). This offers in indication on where the excitement may lie in the upcoming week. As always I checked ESPN's scoreboard and noted the 'Tickets as low as' value. And, this doesn't take into account fees and other expenses ticket sites tack on.
Well, Opening Day is in 17, 18, or 19 days from now. There are 5 games on August 23rd, but week 0 is bereft of B1G affairs.

Well, there's 18 non-conference games for the Big Ten. 16 home games while Northwestern & Nebraska travel on labor day weekend. And, three in-state matchups, not rivals (Ill/Western Ill, WMU/MSU, Ball St/Indy) Let's take a look at the divisions.
CHEAPER THAN A COMBO MEAL Division ($10 or Less) - 6 games
- Maryland, you never ascended, enjoy your cupcake.
- Wisconsin, enjoy the cradle of coaches.
- Purdue, keep on bragging about 2018.

In the Teens Division ($14-$18) - 3 games
- Penn State, is this the year?

- USC -- I was at the the Colosseum when they hosted OSU in 2008 (don't ask)
THE ROARING TWENTIES Division - 4 games
- Iowa, can you leave the B1G already?
- Rutgers, you can finally get that win over Ohio
- Indiana, you beat up on weaklings, you don't fool me.
- Oregon, you led 2024 in regular season excellence. How'd that work out for you?

- Western Mich @ MSU is $52. Smart people, please explain this one to me.
