So basically Knowles wanted an extension during the playoff run. Rather than focusing on the team first and winning a Natty, he wanted to make it about him. Day rightly told him to hold off, and when Knowles didn’t get his way, he started looking for other jobs…

Good riddance if you ask me. The team is competing for a freaking NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and he’s only concerned about himself. Especially when you consider that our defense was way better post Oregon where Day took full control away from Knowles, it takes some stones to even ask for an extension and raise. Have fun in Happy Valley man, can’t wait to see Day teach him a lesson once a year.
