Nicholas Petit-Frere’s time with the Tennessee Titans is over after three seasons.

The Titans waived the former Ohio State offensive tackle on Thursday, clearing space on their roster after signing three free-agent offensive linemen (Sam Mustipher, Brenden Jaimes and Olisaemeka Udoh).

Tennessee drafted Petit-Frere in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft after he earned second-team All-American honors in his final season at Ohio State. He started 16 games at right tackle as a rookie, but lost his starting job in 2023 after he was suspended for the first six games of the season for violating the NFL’s gambling policy. He started 10 games at right tackle for the Titans last season, but received one of the lowest Pro Football Focus grades (46.5) among NFL offensive tackles for the 2024 season.

Now, Petit-Frere will be seeking a new opportunity to continue his NFL career.
