So far we have not seen Ohio State utilize the full speed of the receivers we have going verticle and really stretching the field on deep balls. I know that people have said the deep ball is not Will Howard's strength as a quarterback and he often underthrows these routes.
That said, I can't believe that with receivers like Smith, Egbuka, Tate, etc that we aren't going to turn these guys loose at some point. Do you think we will see some of this against Iowa, do you think they would save it for the Oregon game, or do you think that because of Howard they will just keep things in the short to intermediate range and keep using the slants and crossing routes that have worked so well so far?
