November 7, 1998, just over 25 years ago, Nick Saban led a struggling Sparty team into the Shoe and pulled over the 28-24 upset over the #1 Buckeyes. Similar storyline today as Sparty is having a bad year and OSU is again ranked #1. We all remember how loaded that 1998 team was. Most of us would take the talent on that 1998 team over just about any other Buckeye unit we ever had.
I do not see history repeating itself today. As we know, John Cooper always had that tendency to lose a game that would cost as a natty, and in '98 it was that game. Ryan Day does not lose games that he is supposed to win, especially to an unranked opponent. Thoughts?
