It seems like we spend so much time during the offseason anticipating the upcoming season. And the seasons just fly by it seems with the regular season only being 12 games.
And then so many of us spend much of the season stressing over every little thing going wrong, and worried if our Buckeyes are good enough to beat Alabama/Georgia/TTUN/whoevertheteamofchoiceis that season.
Despite their flaws, I love this team. Dominant defense, an offense with stud playmakers at WR, RB, and a great TE. The O-line has made progress in run blocking as the season has gone on.
McCord is... frustrating at times. But then he has his flashes where he makes great throws. And many of his best throws seem to come in the 2nd half of each game. I get annoyed when I hear "McCord sucks" or "he's garbage". He isn't perfect, but our fanbase compares him to an insanely high standard. McCord is average to above average, and at times shows flashes of being even better. In a season where you have such a great defense, and there is no super elite all-around team in college football, maybe that's all you need.
9-0. With a chance. Let's enjoy this, and enjoy cheering for a program that is always in the hunt. GO BUCKS.
