Our run game has taken a quantum leap forward with the return of TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson is averaging over 6 YPC these past two games against some of the best rush defenses in the Big Ten.
Henderson has made a massive impact, but a ton of credit should go to the O Line too. They are opening massive holes for Henderson on many of his long runs.
Much maligned in the early part of the season, our O Line has started stringing together strong performances these past few weeks. The mental mistakes that plagued the early portion of the season are few and far between now.
It all starts with the guard tandem of Donovan Jackson and Matthew Jones, who have been dominant all season long.

Josh Simmons did not give up a single pressure against Wisconsin or Rutgers.
First year starters Carson Hinzman and Josh Fryar are moving people in the run game and developing more consistency as the season moves along.

There are still occasional mental mistakes, but their performances have become much more consistent.
Our run game is turning into a monster as the calendar turns to November. The timing could not be more perfect.
