My second game at the 'Shoe this year. I also attended the Maryland game. It's about a 2 1/2 hr drive from Eastlake up north but I always attend at least one game.
Very crowded outside the arena near the ESPN gameday area. Could hardly move around. Didn't even attempt the fanfest area as people were stepping over each other and there was tons of media walking around dragging around power cords. Have been to the MI game once before and this is probably the biggest crowd I have seen outside the stadium.
Stadium was rocking. Very loud. The sound registered 120db at various times. Had nosebleed seats in 21D next to a pillar under the press box. Not the best seats but I still was able to find a ticket at a reasonable price for a game of this prominence. Had a good time.
Took video on Iphone of the sights and sounds. It's rather long but has various stuff of interest to me. Starts with the crowd outside the arena and parts of the skull session. Included some pregame and halftime stuff and the band marching out after the game up the ramp etc... coin toss, kickoff etc..got one of the touchdowns. The audio doesn't do a good job of reflecting the noise level at times. It was frickin loud..
