JT Barrett for the 2nd consecutive week is employed as the "red-zone" QB against James Franklin's first Penn State team. JT's performance led OSU to a perfect 5/5 in the redzone , prompting the stadium into "JT JT" chants, and prompting Urban Meyer to name him the fulltime starting QB roughly 1 second into his post game interview.
While Kyle McCord is absolutely not losing the full-time job to Devin Brown, it will be interesting to see if Day's gameplan against Purdue was simply tape filler, or an actual strategy moving forward.
I'm all for seeing a jump pass TD to Stover Saturday afternoon, and the subsequent look of displeasure on Franklin's face.
