The Ohio State vs Michigan game will become meaningless, in fact I would say it already is. Ohio St lost to Michigan and still went onto play for the chance to win a national title. Now add in the fact the big ten is getting rid of divisions and the college football playoff is expanding, it is very possible that Ohio St vs Michigan could happen 3 times in 1 season.

This is the new world of college football, look at Alabama, how many times have they lost to Auburn and still gone on to win a national title. I bet Alabama fans could care less about losing to Auburn if their team is hoisting the only trophy that matters. Its not a be all end all beat Michigan or else nothing matters. If we lose to them in the regular season, the big ten title game but beat them in the playoff, do you think you will care about the 2 losses? What if we beat them in the regular season and the big ten title game but lose to them in the playoff, are you going to care about the 2 wins?

We need to wrap our heads around the fact that the regular season, including the michigan game will become meaningless after this season. We will be able to lose 2 games and still get in the playoff every year
