I don’t think the importance of Tanner McCAlister in this game has been stressed in this game. Tanner McCAlister last college game was against these fighting Irish. He had a whole month of bowl game prepping against them and then actual game experience. I think this is huge as he can directly relate to the game plan that OKST used and in-depth scouting reports against Michael Mayer and Tyler Buchner. He’s played against them and has Experience against them in this offense. I think his experience and tips he can give to his fellow db unit and Lb will be huge. 
I keep seeing people talking  on how ND played against Knowles defense in the bowl game but McCAlister isn’t brought up and I find it interesting
