Arnette, who was released by the Las Vegas Raiders in November, joined the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad in December but was not elevated to the active roster for any games. His contract with the Dolphins expired at the end of the season.
Arnette is not eligible to participate in the playoffs for the Chiefs, but will now have the chance to compete for a spot on their 2022 roster.
