Shouldn’t surprise anyone -- the SEC becomes the first conference to allow athletes to receive up to 6K per year for “educational based benefits” e.g. computers -- education means more down there.
What does this mean to Ohio State? We now offer 6K less per year, per athlete than the SEC.
Will be interesting to see how fast other conferences follow -- if they follow. For the time being, add it to the built-in recruiting advantages the SEC enjoys.
