Like Justin Fields, I would love to see the Big Ten reconsider fall football, but I don't think there's much chance of that happening. And I'm not sure there's all that great a chance of a spring season either.
But IF there is a spring season, I got to wondering what the schedule could look like, and where they would play the games. From what we've heard they are talking about indoor stadiums, and after giving it some thought and playing around with a schedule, I think it could be done using just Minneapolis, Indianapolis, and Detroit on Friday nights and Saturdays over the course of 8 weeks.
I gave everyone four "home" and four "away" games, with location being chosen to give the home team less travel for that week, though in many cases the road team has the shorter trip due to only using three stadiums. Each week has two Friday night games kicking off at 7pm and 8:30pm, and each Saturday has a pair of games kicking off at Noon, a single 4pm game, and two prime time games to end the weekend with. I chose the times based on what I would expect to be the more exciting matchups, though some weeks ended up with better slates than others.
I kept the divisional home/road games the same as the 10 game schedule the Big Ten released, and then just filled in the cross-division games to fit the schedule.
Here's what I came up with, first the Ohio State schedule since that's mostly what we care about:
Ohio State

Week 2 @ Minnesota - @Minny Fri - 8:30pm
Week 3 @ Penn State - @Indy Sat - 7:30pm
Week 4 Rutgers - @Indy Sat - Noon
Week 5 Indiana - @Indy Sat - Noon
Week 6 Iowa - @Indy Sat - 7:30pm
