While on-field workouts begin at the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday, Ohio State wide receivers K.J. Hill and Binjimen Victor got their workouts started on Wednesday with the bench press.

Hill put up 17 repetitions of 225 pounds, which tied for seventh among 33 wide receivers who participated in the lifting session.

Victor was only able to complete nine lifts, which tied for the second-lowest mark among participating wide receivers. That said, longer arms typically have an inverse effect on bench press performance, and Victor is tied for the second-longest arms (34 1/8") among receivers at the combine.

Austin Mack did not participate in the bench press, choosing to wait until Ohio State's March 25 pro day. He told the scouts assembled to watch Wednesday's bench press that his decision not to lift was due to an AC joint sprain.
