Chandler Whitmer, a graduate assistant who spent the 2019 season working with Ohio State's offensive line, is leaving the Buckeyes after one year – and he's leaving for an opponent who the Buckeyes have come to know all too well.

Whitmer, a former UConn quarterback, has left Ohio State to become an offensive assistant at Clemson, per his Twitter bio. He's expected to serve as an analyst and work with the Tigers' quarterbacks, according to a Clemson source.

According to a report by Football Scoop, Ohio State has also added a graduate assistant to its staff in Billy Fessler, a former Penn State walk-on quarterback who was most recently an offensive graduate assistant at Mississippi State.
