I always find it enjoyable to search the internet for any footage from opposing team’s practices to get any insight before a game but because most teams only allow media to attend the first few periods of practice, not much can be gained from any scheme work or true 7v7 or 11v11 reps. Most of what you can gain is simple personnel info like injuries, order of who takes reps in Indy “individual” work, etc. But I saw something today in Clemson’s practice footage from a Tiger media outlet that was very interesting. If you open the link and skim to 5:37 you’ll see the Clemson field goal unit get a few reps of a fake field goal where the holder is flipping the ball to the kicker, a play very similar to what Les Miles ran at LSU. Now most teams do rep a multitude of fake concepts during their special team periods to ensure execution is there if the call is ever needed but just found it very interesting and thought any coaches or film watchers might enjoy it. Go Bucks!

Also, there is a ball protection drill (right before the kicking portion) they put their skill players and QB’s through that I found pretty inventive and something coaches of all levels might think about implementing.
