Former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa has been hit by the injury bug again.
After leaving practice early on Wednesday, Bosa was diagnosed with an ankle sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
#49ers first-round pick DE Nick Bosa was diagnosed with just an ankle sprain, Im told. He had an MRI after practice. Expect the team to be cautious with their top pick, meaning you may not see him in the preseason.

Bosa's latest injury comes after he suffered a season-ending core muscle injury in Ohio State's third game last season, then missed the majority of the San Francisco 49ers' OTAs with a hamstring injury.
The 49ers' No. 2 overall pick had been drawing rave reviews for his performance in training camp, but now, there's a good chance he'll be sidelined for the entire preseason.
