I think some will find this interesting as it's been a topic that's been often debated. Who will really run UM's offense and will JH really relinquish control of the play calling? According to the article, that was Gatti's first question to JH when he was called about the job and JH's answer was:
You run your offense, all your stuff. We'll get you a contract today. I don't want to miss on another chance to hire you.
Take it for what's it's worth. I know some will take it with a healthy dose of skepticism, which is understandable, but it certainly appears Gattis calls the plays and there is no process or approval required.
