 This year has been difficult for Meyer's Gators, his worst in a tenure at Florida that includes two national titles. The Gators are a disappointing 7-5, including a 31-7 regular season-ending loss to archrival Florida State. Tim Tebow, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback with whom Meyer was particularly close, is now an NFL rookie, and things haven't been the same since he left.

He didn't mention the word coach.

You can attribute this mostly to social media, but in the 7 years Urban has been a coach, we've truly gotten to witness how important Shelley, Nicki, Gigi, Nate, and now Corey and Troy) are to him. For me, today is a sad day as a fan. But I'm also so happy for those closest to him. I can't imagine what a high (e.g., 2014) and low (e.g., arguably any other year) must be for them.

This man (and his family) have represented this university and this program to the best of their ability.
