He actually looked fired up, gave us a couple fists in the air. Oh, after that great tackle after the kickoff in the 4th he was smiling and actively searching for the guy who made the tackle to hi five him.
That being said, this win IS NOT going over well with the media (before you say "who cares what they think")...if they are all thinking it, you know the committee is thinking it. It was 9-7 in the 4th, they had a TD called back for an illegal man downfield that had no bearing on the play (this would've changed the direction of the game). Their QB play was soooo bad, missed a lot of open receivers and yeah we had over 100 yards rushing, but 2.7 per carry, nothing to get excited about. Michigan's defense is better and they have a much better offense than MSU.
We won this game because of our punting...Heck, I thing we had the ball around midfield 4 or 5 times in the 2nd half and couldn't do anything offensively.
I think we move up a spot, thats about it.
