I see a lot of people who say that Nebraska’s 2-7 record defines them. They’re bad because they’re 2-7. There’s no room to discuss where they are today, the first two months of the season outweigh what ground they’ve made. 

The same people tell us that Ohio States 8-1 record is flawed, because we’ve squeaked by inferior opponents. 

Either a record defines you or it doesn’t, you can’t have it both ways. If Nebraska's 2-7 record means they’re trash, then our 8-1 record means we are an excellent team. 

EDIT: the overall point is that Nebraska is an talented team who has improved over the season. 2-7 isn’t a sign of a good team, but I bet you their trajectory continues higher.
