This is the game outside of the good guys I am most excited to watch this weekend.
Michigan winning means the Big Ten is perceived better(very important for the committee.) The big 4 in the Big Ten east should all be undefeated OOC. Michigan will be higher ranked when they roll into Columbus for their annual spanking. Notre Dame fans are also the worst fans in all of sports(inarguable fact.)
Notre Dame winning also means Michigan loses. Notre Dame is also very unlikely to be in contention for a playoff spot so no need to worry about them. Michigan and Harbaugh could be in for another rough year with MSU,PSU,Wisconsin, and the good guys remaining on the schedule.
I think Michigan wins, ND has to overcome two top 10 lineman to the NFL, RB is suspended their QB sucks(and Michigan has a great secondary/pass rush) and their great DC Mike Elko bolted for Texas A&M. Michigan *should* be better at every position.
Especially with the current events and their optimism for this being the year they get up off the mat i'm rooting for ND
I am just curious don't DV me into oblivion to see what people are thinking
