I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.
I Believe In Ohio State.
Not going to flog you. Just happy this means we're in game week.
New Day for OSU. Same noon for TTUN.
Flog Molly.. Go Irish [vomit (more vomit)], fuck Michigan!!!
Why does Dublin have so many round-abouts? Because everyone in Dublin thinks they have the right-of-way.
They both can suck it
Let's go Irish!.....man, I hated saying that, but it's better than the alternative.
Michigan wins a hard fought game. The Wolverine faithful rejoice. Desmond puts them in his playoff projection. HARBAUGH FINALLY HAS HIS GUYS!!!!
Notre Dame ends up sucking. Michigan finishes fourth on the B1G east. Wolverine hearts break.
We all laugh.

Here I am really thinking this through, struggling to find a way where both sides end up broken hearted and you drop a pearl of wisdom like that. Genius.
I can’t take too much credit. Replace ND with UF and you have the 2017 season.
Agree with RBurgundy4 this was pure genius, still lol as I type this!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Michigan wins the September Heisman and National Championship!
jimmy got called up to play 1st base for the A's, so I don't know how TTUN is going to do this weekend vs ND.
prolly increases the odds for ND though
I saw Ryan Day hang 62 on Michigan...His hair was perfect.
Go Buckeyes Beat Michigan
They forgot the other "s" on that jersey...
I hate Notre Dame and I hope they win by a billion

That’s so SEC.
is the conference trying to tel us who they have pegged to win this year with Bucky in front?
Ohio, the greatest state in the Union!
Enjoying daily the back to back ttun beatdowns.
I can never root for that team.
I'm all in for the "F"CK EM BOTH" rule....
Can 11W just put Barf on staff so he can create these gif's all day long? We may need 13W to make this happen.
You obviously haven’t been to the private lounge.
After both teams go 10 overtime’s and nobody scores, the new rule kicks in, and it’s game over and both teams lose!!! +1 Barfolomew
Go Irish beat TTUN ...badly.
I am rooting for Thanos.

Just wanted to say thank you for your eloquently accurate post earlier today.
If you can read this give GlassCityBuckeyes some more HS

I will be at the glass bowl in 2 weeks to personally let them know
fuck em both, im rooting for the meteor as always
For one week this season I will be cheering for the irish even if they put this classic together
They will always be known as the Fig Thing Irish going forward
See you in Indy !!
It's not a rivalry .............. it's a wreckoning.

Strength: Throwing things under buses. Diversion +10. Imaginary girlfriends. Stealth +10.
Pokemon is your best comparison for something that looks this aggressive?
I’m not gonna touch this one.
I'm rooting for a tie.
I think Michigan wins. I'll probably root for ND, who I dislike nearly as much as Michigan. Side note: It is quite pleasing that both Urban and Tressel blasted ND in a bowl game and so far have a cumulative record of 15-1 against Michigan...
The offseason is the longest season.
Hope to see this......
As much as I hate ND, I would love to see UM fans lose their hope and turn on JH.
What he said!
"Captain, over here, I've found someth... AHHHH!!!!!!"
I actually don't care which team wins or loses, because it's a death nell to the loser, primarily because I don't think they'll win out from there.
Conversely, no matter who wins, the winner will get a huge bump in the press. But, Ohio State can personally pop Michigan's bubble, and Notre Dame will more than likely stumble along the way.
So, no matter who loses, it's win-win.
Tailgate Fare Historical Archive
That’s a good point, whoever wins will be “back” in the eyes of the media, unless the game is a complete clusterfuck of on field ineptitude and shitty game management by both coaches.
I think I’d like to see that.
A good old fashioned clusterfuck wouldn't be the worst thing either.
Yes, ND kicks a field goal as time expires to win 3-2.
In order for TTUN to go 0-12, ND has to win.
The best part about Michigan being 0-0 is the chance for them to go 0-1.
Personally would prefer Urban joins ND over Michigan after he spurns Drake for the suspension...
That was the question right?
Buckshots... in case you have amnesia.
My favorite team: The Ohio State Buckeyes
Second favorite team: who ever is playing ttun!
That's all I have to say about that!
Yes, that falls from the sky and takes out both teams and whatever ridiculous stadium they're in!
I don’t care who wins but I’d love to see some epic head coach meltdowns on the sideline.
Just posting and hoping my comment isn’t deleted.
Get the duct tape ready for that headset.
You Got Barbecue Back There!?!?!?!
AS much as I usually root for the Big Ten, I would prefer that ND start things off right and give Michigan a loss early.
I think ND wins especially if Higdon is out.
I think ND puts a couple buckets of KFC in the end zones, Harbaugh tells his players to stay away from the chicken and The Fig Thing Irish win 69-0....
I’m rooting for Michigan. I’m sure some on here are shocked.
Rooting for ND.
Almost certain UM wins, and maybe more confortably than most think.
Screw conference pride. Give me the Golden Domers all day, every day against TSUN.
When I was young, I was ok with the Wolverines. Now that I'm wise, I despise them.
Don't get me wrong, I'd pull for TSUN to beat ISIS, but that's about it.
The Browns are no longer the worst franchise in all of professional sport.
They would choke in the second half vs ISIS. :-P
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. ~ Mark Twain
ND for one week. Thump *ichigan the way MSU does- physically throttle them.
Its good to be the king
There is NEVER an instance where you should root for TTUN.
I’m not sure how is this a serious question but I’ll bite? I want ND to humiliate Michigan. Preferably ending any hope of a national title in the first week of the season. Hopefully 45-3 ND.
I am stuck living in the asshole of the world called South Bend. I am surrounded by both domers and ttun fans. Asking me to pick one is like asking which I'd prefer, my testicles or my penis run through the meat grinder.
Scarlett & Gray > Blue and Gold
stuck living in the asshole of the world called South Bend
That would have been a terrible username.
Rooting for the rare double-disqualification and both teams taking an L.
That said, I think Michigan wins.
Used to be a diehard ND fan. My mom, Irish Catholic, grew up in the same Akron neighborhood as Ara P. She was 2 years older. My uncle played sandlot football with Ara. My mom went to Akron St. Mary's which merged w/St. V in '72. Ara, a Presbyterian, went to Akron South. I digress.
Key words: used to be ~ rooting for ttun. Want those bastards undefeated when the Buckeyes clean their clocks! And if "we" don't clean their clocks, maybe the wolverines make the playoffs and Ohio State beats them again. Beating Michigan twice in one year ~ nirvana!
ok, ok, who am I kidding. :-P
I grew up in the Akron area and don't think I ever realized that Ara was a native son. Thanks for sharing.
Touchdown Jesus > TSUN
I am not very smart, but I recognize that I'm not very smart. --- W.W. Hayes
I hate Michigan but I think they will be good this year. Not good enough to beat OSU but good enough to beat up ND by a couple of touchdowns.
In 2014, the year Ohio State won the National Championship, Michigan went 5-7. This should have ended conclusively the fallacy that the Buckeyes somehow “need” Michigan to be good. Go ND.
The Irish have plenty of other chances to have their season ruined. For TTUN however, week 1 would be the perfect time for loss #1 (out of 5 for the year).
AKA the Horseshoe, the Shoe, and the House That Harley Built
Big Ten is super strong this year and doesn’t need this win. I hope Michigan gets crushed because they are a legit contender. It’s best for us if they are doubting themselves all year.
I just don't see them as a legit contender. They've added a transfer QB who likely wouldn't have started at ole Miss had he stayed... They lose at least 3 games this season.
Urban Meyer >Jim Harbaugh for ever and ever, Amen. 0
I think they lose at least three too since the schedule is so tough, but they are good enough to do better than that if they get some things to bounce their way.
The 2 biggest dick headed, monkey fucking, sister humping, ego maniacal, narcissistic blow hards in college football. I wish them to both stroke out during the game. With that said, Michigan has a strong defense. NOtre Dame wins by 3 on a hail mary at the buzzer because even God hates Harbaugh and Michigan that much.
You never lose to those pricks. Ever. Ever. Urban Frank Meyer
I don't have to root for either.
Nut on top
I live in Vegas and will probably put a decent amount on Michigan. The line was even last I checked. Seems like easy $. I either win some $ or Michigan loses—a win-win for me.
I've got Michigan +1 at Betonline. If that keeps moving I'm with you
Anybody order fried sauerkraut?!
The Priest's 63-0
You are only as big as the sheeple say you are.
I'm just glad one of the 2 is guaranteed a loss the first weekend.
For one day only...wake up the echoes.
"Anything easy ain't worth a damn"
Can both lose? I'll root for...*choking cough, need water, clears throat*.....ND.
Just this once.
Michigan by 12. I'm cheering for ND, but they aren't going to stop MI this year. ND has a crap qb and crap running game. MI defense will dominate. Michigan O line will give time to break in new qb. I think this could be a big blow out for MI. But it would be so great for ND to win, because MI would fall apart and we would get to watch it next summer on amazon.
We've seen TTUN upset time and again this last decade, but even with their recent injury woes, they look to be a noticeably more talented team than Notre Dame.
My pick is UM in some sort of unwatchable 15-13 type of mess. The fanbase of the losing team is sure to make me joyous this weekend.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Sigh. This stupid trick question is always posted here. Who are you "rooting" for? You root for TOSU. You NEVER root for ND, and even more so, NEVER, EVER under any circumstances, root for Michigan. You really don't want either team to win. And there just is absolutely no good reason to root for your enemy.
However, there are other ways to phrase the question, which make more sense.
Now, since I'm a Michigan fan, I obviously am rooting for Michigan. However, I'm extremely interested to see how the OL plays, and how Patterson does. We know that TOSU is going to be very good. How can the Buckeyes not be? But Michigan is much more of an unknown, at least on offense. Michigan has been mediocre or bad for years. Until I see a competent OL, and a good QB, it all is just hot air. If the OL is competent, and Patterson is solid, that will greatly affect how I predict the rest of the season. Personally, I think Michigan is mad, and deeply feels they have something to prove. They are out for blood, and I actually think they could win by more than two scores.
I think you guys are going to have a really solid defense and a much improved offense. Your O line should be much improved, no thanks to Ed Wariner! I re-watched the 2017 game today and, if these things happen, I wouldn't recommend anyone looking past you guys.
"Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else." - Judy Garland
You really don't want either team to win.
Wrong. I really want Notre Dame to win. I mean, I REALLY want them to win... and big. I take 99.9% as much pleasure in *ichigan losing as I do in Ohio State winning. I know someone even more spiteful than me who actually takes MORE pleasure in ttun losing than he doesn't in the Buckeyes winning... but I'm not quite that malevolent.
When I die, sprinkle my ashes over the 70's
That's weird. I get your taking some pleasure (truly schadenfreude) at Michigan losing. But 99.9%? And for your friend, more pleasure at Michigan losing than the Buckeyes winning? To me, that's an unhealthy obsession. As far as I'm concerned, I really don't care if TOSU wins or loses. And generally, I'd rather they be good instead of sinking to mediocrity.
You will never understand the rivalry is this does not make sense to you.
If you don't hate TTUN, you're not a true Buckeye (yeah I know, "No true Scotsman" fallacy...but logic does not apply to this).
Go Bucks!!! Screw blue! (In that order.)
I get your taking some pleasure (truly schadenfreude) at Michigan losing.
That much I completely get. I'm happy when you guys lose too!
I know someone even more spiteful than me who actually takes MORE pleasure in ttun losing than he does in the Buckeyes winning
This spite I don't get. I'm a "fan" of Michigan. I care about Michigan, which is kind of stupid in a way . . . I'm a grown adult, and whether a group of 18 - 22 year old young men win in a competition ultimately shouldn't affect my life, but it does. However, as long as Michigan is winning, and as long as they beat TOSU, it doesn't matter all that much to me whether you, TOSU, that is, wins or loses. I guess it goes back to comments I've made elsewhere about respect. Back when I was first a fan, Bo respected Woody, and Woody respected Bo. They wanted more than anything to beat each other, but they still had a friendship, and they respected each other. I'd love to see a tape of Woody stating that he hated Michigan so much, he wanted them to lose all their games. I'm betting no such tape exists, and that this wasn't the way he felt.
I never said I didn't respect Bo. I did. I also never said I didn't respect *ichigan's program. I did/do, even durning the Rodriguez and Hoke eras (I did NOT respect Brady Hoke, however). The annual poll question on here about Ohio State's toughest game in the upcoming season, and then having, for eg., Oklahoma, PSU, MSU, and TTUN from which to choose... I ALWAYS choose *ichigan. Always. I grew up during the Ten-Year-War. TTUN always concerns me... but I cannot stand the program. I don't hate Harbaugh. Aside from his eccentricities, I actually like the dude because he's a football guy through and through... but I hate the program he coaches. Hating and respecting something is not mutually exclusive for me. It can be, but it doesn't have to be. I hate Alabama football, but I respect the hell out of that program. On the other hand, I hate SEC fans, and I also have zero respect for those barefooted, toothpick chewing, gator hunting, moonshine swilling rednecks.
For me the spite ratio is a perfect 100.00%.
You've got barbecue back there?
Ed Warriner is the best OL coach in the country. Your offensive line is going to play just fine. Michigan big
2x account suspension survivor
I don't want either team to win. Inevitably, one team will win this game. Therefore, I will be actively cheering for Notre Dame to win that football game.
The definition of "root for" is support or hope success of. I root for OSU, I root for UC, I am going to root for Joe Burrow. In a game between Michigan and Notre Dame I am going to root for somebody unless I am neutral. Sorry to bother you with this insane notion people may watch and have cheering interest in a big game outside of OSU. I understand you're a Michigan fan so you are much smarter than us common folk here at 11w. But I always appreciate the michigan men gracing us with their intellect!!
Need ND to lose so they are out of playoff contention as they may not lose another game on their schedule. UM will lose multiple times this season, one of them to OSU. This is probably the only time I ever hope UM wins.
Was leaning toward that line of thinking, however, ND actually has a fairly decent schedule (unlike years past) and I don't see them with fewer than 2 losses regardless of this game, so that's off the table in my mind. That takes we back to my cardinal rule. A mantra, if you will. Fuck Michigan. I hope they never win another game. (Besides, it's bad enough we have to spend the whole offseason listening to TTUN fans thinking they are elite again. Let's just end that narrative in Week 1, shall we.)
Also, I remember this being the fear with ND last year: oh no their only loss is by one point to the #1 team in the country!, and then they had a meltdown in Miami.
Notre Dame will be 9-4 this year: I’m thinking losses to any four of: Stanford, Va Tech, Florida State, Michigan, Northwestern, USC.
I NEVER root for TTUN. Ever.
My 3 favorite teams are:
1. Ohio State
2. Anyone playing a team ranked higher than us
3. Anyone playing TTUN.
The point spread.
But otherwise Michigan. I don't mind Michigan. I am in the camp that wants them to be good when OSU smashes them every year.
Nothing is worse than Notre Dame fans when ND is good. Insufferable. I live in Chicago and every single Irish person here (and there are a lot) think ND football is some kind of birthright.
Proudly dispensing unbridled arrogance since 1983.
Agreed. Northwestern and Illinois could be good at the same time (humor me here) and still ND would get the lion's share of press.
I don't mind Michigan
That's Brewster, forever the contrarian
Shandy is not beer
LOL. I can honestly admit it may very well have something to do with the fact that I am an OSU transplant. I did not grow up around a lot of OSU fans, and by extension a lot of Michigan hatred. My OSU fandom only covers about half of my life, not all of it like most of the born and bred Buckeyes. I won't overlook that.
In the same vein, it's probably why my distaste for ND outpaces my distaste for Michigan having grown up in a Notre Dame hotbed. I'm certainly not in the 'just another game' camp by any means and frankly, much of my time as an OSU fan has been spent knowing little else other than OSU dominance. Again, all things that contribute to me not liking Michigan, but certainly not hating them. (I trace my exact moment of OSU fandom to Joe Germaine and David Boston breaking ASU's heart in the Rose-a few M wins since but not many).
ND on the other hand.....they make my blood boil, which is probably how I should feel about UM, but just cant.
But did you have to say “ go bl@&” above. Gosh. It’s like nails on a chalk board.
I would prefer them win over ND to bolster conference and our schedule.
I HATE TTUN. GO IRISH
Haven’t a clue who or what ND is.. Michigan probably rolls
"To The House"
Go Irish, but Rudy still sucks (and he was offsides too).
12-0 and a chance to go 13-0
In another universe ttun still sucks...
I honestly don't know which of those two coaches needs this W more... Tough call.
I think the rope for Brian Kelly is a little shorter because Harbaugh is, after all, a "Michigan man."
I'd say Kelly probably has to have this win more.
I'm going to say Michigan gets the W in a very boring, low scoring game because their offense is going to suck and their defense is going to be good. 13-10 Michigan.
Urban Meyer left an incredible legacy. 12/4/18 Ryan Day begins his.
I know I'm late to the dance but.....FUCK XICHIGAN...FUCK HAIRBALL...FUCK N.D...Go Coach Meyer...Go Bucks...
Yell us how you really feel.
"Woody is a God-fearing man. It's good to know that he's afraid of somebody."
Both teams are always drastically overrated garbage. This game will likely have far, far less impact as the season moves forward than we try to convince ourselves it does here in August. Still, Michigan needs to stop going full blown Michigan and actually win a big game for once, even if that game is little more than pomp and pageantry from two programs whose best years are well in their rear view mirror.
Notre Dame for me. The best man in my wedding is a huge ND fan and he is the best guy I have ever known. Super level headed about it. Also, took me to a Notre Dame game a few years ago and I really enjoyed myself with the people we hung out with.
I root for something that makes both teams look bad, maybe a comedy of errors or an end of the game punt muff like what happened against MSU, as long as it doesn't cost us a playoff spot. Unfortunately the way the schedule is set up it does help us if Michigan wins, as we do not get a crack at ND, so if it comes down us or ND in the playoffs, we don't control our own destiny against them, like we do against UM.
Rooting for UM not because of conference pride, but I love when OSU and Michigan are at the top of college football. It's what makes the rivalry so great. It's always fun to live in their misery but it's even better when we crush them when their hopes are high. Plus, my girlfriend's dad is a ND fan and it annoys me
Their hopes are always high. They are delusional douchefucks.
I want Michigan to lose every game they play. I could not care less who the opponent is, I just want them to lose.
The correct answer is to root for the weather, lightning storm means game is cancelled and EVERYONE WINS when ND and UM don't win. The very distant second best answer is to root for the B1G.
College football fans lose if that game isn't played.
I'm not rooting for Michigan, I'm rooting for the B1G. So that's who I want to win, who do I think is going to win? Michigan by double digits.
Pulling for the Irish... but I sincerely hope Michigan kicks Penn State's ass down the road... I despise James Franklin, and the Hate Factor is higher for PSU than Michigan right now...
I always pull for the Big10 out of conference. No exceptions. Instead of just screaming F Michigan... I'm a mature enough person to understand that perceived strong conference and rival is better for us than a perceived weak one.
If Ohio State beat 5th ranked Michigan last year, they would of been in the playoffs.
I disagree. I think losing by 31 to Iowa permanently kept us out unless there was another 2 loss team that we were in contention with.
I am rooting for a large outbreak of genital herpes to strike the stadium!
I will not root for them, but I want TSUN to win this game:
But I also will not shed any tears if ND thumps them.
Win-win proposition this weekend.
I think Michigan wins and I will be rooting for them. I got no problem rooting for any B1G out of conference, including Michigan.
"In America, anyone can become president. That's the problem." George Carlin
Well....."rooting for" is a strong term. Suffice it to say that I will watch this game with interest....my first choice is a tie, 3-3...or 2-2.
Barring that...I will acknowledge that it is better for the conference if scUM prevails in this game....but at the same time, I get a pleasant, relaxed feeling if they lose....so, whatever happens is OK with me.
Realistically, I'd pick scUM to finally win an important game and give their fanbase false hope to prepare them for flogging that is to come from Sparty, PSU, and Ohio State.
Never, under any circumstances, do I cheer on TTUN. Their disgusting egos are enough to move me completely away from ever liking them. I hope Notre Dame buries them and then spits on the grave.
Number 1 rule in life: always beat That Team Up North.
Rooting for khaki pants to leave that stadium with her tail between her legs and a giant brown stain on her precious $10 khaki's. . . go fig thing. . . this week only and efff meatchicken each and every week as always!
You don’t have to root for Michigan, but you must root against Notre Dame.
A Michigan loss is a transitive blow to the Big Ten and could very well end up diminishing Ohio State’s strength of schedule.
Look at Notre Dame’s schedule: Stanford, Florida St., USC, VA Tech, Northwestern. Can’t have Notre Dame go 2-0 against Big.
I won't root for either and don't really care either way. I'm likely to place a wager on the game though, probably as part of a larger parlay, and I will likely be taking Michigan to cover.
I laugh when Michigan loses, but generally want them to be good for the rivalry to mean more. I loved 2016 when we crushed their hope at the BIG championship game as well as the chance at the playoff. Those are much sweeter wins than beating a 4 loss Michigan team.
I don't care if ND is good or bad, since we don't play them every year. If we meet up with them in the postseason, it probably means either both of us were good or both of us were mediocre. I hope we crush them either way in that scenario.
Where do those of who had our formative football years in Cooper era fall on this?
I don't have a desire for "sweet" victories. I want to see Sad Michigan all day every day. I want them sad forever. I thought i was over Tim Biakabatuka and Charles Woodson until I watched Denard Robinson do it to me again six years ago.
App State? Funny! Sparty last year? Even funnier!
I want them depressed and broken when we play them and I want to beat them 100-0. If that's not possible, then yes, I'll take a "sweet" victory.
Me. My formative years were in the Cooper era. And having those crushing defeats at the end of the year will sting forever. I want those for Michigan fans, which was kind of my point.
If it's close, I guess I want Michigan to win. It's better for OSU, and keeps some extra drama alive moving forward. If it's close and ND edges them out, I see no benefit to OSU, and the schadenfreude wouldn't be all that strong because UM will have lost a close game to a "good team". My preferred outcome would be for ND to win by 40+. Maximum, season-ending shadenfreude. Scorched earth in Ann Arbor. Actual tears in the stands.
Dairy-fed intellect and pure, unhinged sass.
The head says: root for ttun as it helps national perception of the BIG and improves our SoS
The heart says: eff that never gonna root for those weasels.
But, if there was ever a consolation prize for ttun winning, there is none greater than ND losing. So I say, Go Bucks! And I don't give a damn for the whole state of m*ch*g*n
I either want TTUN to win... or to lose by 40+
Kyle "blood on the field" Kalis... 0-5
I am rooting for the Asteroid...but hope it hits the Michigan sideline first. Fuck them.
I Hate Michigan.
This is the only match up in College Football where I hope the Blimp crashes onto the field.
Want ND to win.
Michigan wins easy. Their defense will be a beast and Wimbush isn't passing his way to victory. I think Patterson will be good too. Unfortunately.
You may be right, but this is a rivalry game, and it's in South Bend. And some teams also do not come out of the gates well. Would surprise me if either team won big.
"No we don't give a da*n 'Bout the whole state of *ichigan"
The lesser of 2 evils = ND.
Put me down for WGAF! I am just ready to watch the Buckeyes after the month that we just had to endure. If we drop 70 on the Beavers, it will make for an awesome weekend. The only other game worth watching is Joey Burrow!
I want scum to win... it may come down to that helping the Buckeyes make the CFP... if we also played ND then it would not matter that much
Is it asking too much that the stadium caves in and both programs are buried under a steaming pile of mediocrity?
Oh, you haven't been paying much attention for the last decade have you?
Pray for potatoes with a hoe in your hand.
Is there a scenario in which both teams can lose?
Its a tough pill to swallow, but, I’m assuming we’re rooting for TTUN, strictly for BIG purposes/makes OSU look better if/when we beat them.
I think it is possible for both sides to be right in the "do we want to see Michigan do well?" debate.
1. The "pro" side:
2. The "anti" side:
I find myself in an odd position, then: I am always rooting for Michigan to lose, but I don't mind if they win. Does that work for everybody? We always want Michigan to lose, but if they win, oh well.
Ding-Ding-Ding.....#2 is the winner!!!!!!!!!
I LOATHE ND and their fans, but I hope they beat *ichigan so bad the NCAA gets together and is forced to give them two losses from one game. I want *ichigan fans to question their reason for existence and come to the conclusion there is no reason aside from being Buckeye fan's entertainment and punching bag.
Did you read any negative articles in national media regarding 2nd release of documents from Zach Smith investigation with Urban. I'd like to know.
.... Please stop being so petty. If you can't handle opposing viewpoints without being so utterly offended, perhaps you have no business commenting on these forums. Man you're making yourself look bad.
As always, I am cheering for a failed Satellite to fall in the middle of the stadium.
The lord of brevity.
I don't really care about Notre Dame, don't have an opinion of them. We own them. Well, for that matter, we own TTUN as well, but there is nothing I enjoy more than watching the piss & blue lose, so that their arrogant fans get their weekly harsh reminder that yesteryear is over. It's hilarious knowing they pay Harbaugh $9M per year to produce 9-3 and 8-4 seasons. We obviously don't need TTUN to be good, so they can lose and also fuck off. Fuck Michigan and their sanctimonious fans. Fuck them all. I don't ever want them to enjoy anything. I hope their schedule tears them a new asshole.
Our objective is simple: to make the state of Ohio proud.
Fun Fact about Harbaugh, in his 7 seasons coaching at Stanford and Michigan he has only beaten one ranked team on the road and that is USC. He beat them twice. I would take the Irish at home and being a night game.
Go Notre Dame. I want UM to suck this year.
I don't like either team, but hate the fucking greedy Irish more!!
FTR, I think Michigan wins, but I will be focusing on the OT play. This is Michigan's achilles heel, their weakest point. And they will be totally exposed against TOSU, and greatly challenged by Wisconsin and MSU. The only way Michigan amounts to anything this year is if their OT play far exceeds my hopes and expectations. If their OT's are at least average at pass protection, and good at blocking for the running game, it will be because someone young has really figured it out early and stepped up to the plate. Oh, and it will reflect extremely, extremely well on Warinner.
As regards Warinner, I think he was over his head as an OC at TOSU. As was Drevno at Michigan. If Warinner is happy and satisfied coaching the OL, and Michigan pays him a boatload of money to lock him up at that position for 10 - 15 years, that would be huge, and would be the thing that truly turns the corner for Michigan. Teams that have an elite OL can cover over youth and weaknesses at other positions.
I hate both, but i hate scum more than the domers. I would love to see scum lose by 100.
For those wanting a Michigan win for th strength of the big 10 and OSU’s schedule, you’re about to get it, and all the ridiculous hype that comes with it. UM and jimmy are going to bury ND and will be highly ranked and lauded all season. It will be insufferable. I despise them, but UM is going to be good this year. They have had great defenses, and will again, and now have significantly upgraded their only two weak spots, at QB and on the OL with Warrinier who can coach OL. Don’t be surprised to see UM unbeaten or with just 1 loss coming into Columbus. Not sure what people are looking at in thinking they are below teams like MSU or PSU or even Wisc. They appear to me to be highly talented and very balanced, with maybe the best defense in the nation.
I agree...we need to beat them this year especially.
Thank you Urban Meyer and Gene Smith
I'll be cheering for the Irish as I have family ties to ND. Go Irish!
One of my best friends went to ND, and no-one I know (or at least would admit to knowing) went to TSUN, so for that reason alone, I (reluctantly) say Go Irish.
Out of darkness cometh light
Would it be possible for TSUN to win in a squeaker, but have Patterson, Bush and Gary suffer season ending injuries?
Couple of points:
* You can't have a great rivalry unless you have a great rival.
* There is an unfathomable joy in seeing Michigan's undefeated season go down the drain in their final game of the season causing a long winter to become infinitely long. Yes I'm still bitter over the Cooper years. Just can't let it go.
* A strong Big 10 makes wins in conference more valuable.
*I'm hoping that the game shows Michigan weaknesses that can't be overcome this season.
All that being said-------Go IRISH!
It's a shame that there isn't a way that both teams could lose the same game....just a shame...
TTUN probably romps. Hope not but I get the feeling they will. Isn't Wimbush the only playmaker ND has on offense?

Sorry folks,TTUN is going to dump the golden domers in ugly fashion. Cant stand Notre Dame and loath the other team but I also am a fan of football and I think UM is just flat better and it will show on the field.
