The NFL shifted its' draft system to seven-rounds in 1994 and has not changed since. With that, I wanted to see which schools have been the most successful in that time span so I set out on a research process in my free time (don't judge me) to quantify the results.

NOTE: I only used current Power-5 schools to save time, and it is unlikely that any school outside of said conferences would have much of an impact. If anybody has the time/determination to uncover the data from such a school, please let me know.

NOTE: I included selections in the Supplemental Draft so, technically, the 2018 draft cycle isn't officially complete.

Scoring System:
1st Round Pick: 7 Points
2nd Round Pick: 6 Points
3rd Round Pick: 5 Points
4th Round Pick: 4 Points
5th Round Pick: 3 Points
6th Round Pick: 2 Points
7th Round Pick: 1 Point

Positional Structure:
-Quarterbacks
-Running Backs/Fullbacks
-Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
-Offensive Line
-Front Seven* (Defensive Tackles, Defensive Ends, & Linebackers)
-Defensive Backs
-Special Teams (Kickers, Punters, & Long Snappers)

*Often, college DT's are listed as DE's in the draft, and the same goes for college DE's being listed as OLB's. Instead of determining whether to categorize them based on college position or by draft position, I combined all position groups under one category.

I know it's silly, but it's fun and it truly shows the consistency by which Ohio State has developed NFL talent for a quarter of a century.
