After the Buckeyes made it 17-17 on Saturday, our defense stepped up and forced a 3 and out. It looked like the tide was turning there.

However, a couple of freak injuries happened, we were left with a backup LT who gave up a sack + FF. From there, things continued to go downhill for the Buckeyes.

Sort of exposed one of our problems that has been noted over the last year - our offensive line is not good after the starters. Depth isn't there, despite all the huge (rankings and SIZE) recruits.

Short recap of where all the talent went: 

2013 - Gardiner never makes it to fall camp. Lisle never pans out and xfers to Duke.

2014 - Marcelys Jones and Trout xferred and never panned out either. (Knox and Jamarco Jones have done well)

2015 - Feder, Jurkovic, Schmidt never make it. Bowen and Burrell haven't lived up to hype. Prince is the only one to ever start.

2016 - Gerald xfers out after a year. (Jordan has turned out well) Pridgeon hasn't panned out either.

The lack of development or pure recruiting misses have really hurt us. 8 guys off the OL disappearing in 4 years is baaaaaaad. As we saw, one injury and we're in for a rough game. Prince was a disaster all season last year, but we had nobody else ready to play. 

Think Studrawa is on the hot seat this year? I know it's only his 2nd year, do you think he'll get more time to work with these guys?
