Former Ohio State defensive back Tyvis Powell has joined his fourth NFL team since the start of 2017 as he looks to keeps his professional football career alive.

Powell was added to the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad on Wednesday, one week after being released from the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad.
Powell spent the preseason with the Indianapolis Colts, after he was waived by the Cleveland Browns in June, but did not make the Colts' 53-man roster and was released in September. He has not appeared in an NFL regular-season game since last year, when he played in eight games for the Seahawks, who signed him out of Ohio State as an undrafted free agent.
