I'm talking to someone about scenarios of how the final rankings could turn out and the topic of the fact that Clemson might not even make their own conference championship came up. He then pointed out that they could still make it because of what happened last year which made me think of a scenario the committee would be presented with.

Should they allow in a nonconference champion like they did last year or learn from their "mistake" and keep them out?

If they chose to leave them out, for that reason, Clemson would essentially be voted out because of how badly they beat someone?

Probably wont happen but it'd still make me laugh hysterically if it did.
