So, I've seen the national writers and fans complain about the 8-10 left right plays, where JT throws left or right laterally to a WR or H back. They drive me crazy. Very little yardage and PSU seemed to know it was coming and had it perfectly defended.
My uninformed opinion is that runs with Dobbins or Weber on those plays, inside or outside, would produce much more yardage and soften up the DL.
Football coaches and experts, tell me why I'm wrong and why Meyer runs those plays. (Same play calling under Warrner/Beck and Day/Wilson, so it has to be Meyer.)
