Schiano has said a few times that the main reason he has not accepted any HC offers is because he did not want to uproot his family and to give his sons a chance at finishing high school.

If I am not mistaken, Schiano's twin sons are both graduating at the end of this year, so now he might be open to hearing some more offers. UF would not be the worst fit. Schiano knows the area well from being the DC of Miami Hurricanes (1999-2000), and HC for the Tampa Bay Bucs (2012-2013). Plus, Florida is stacked with talent on the defensive side of the ball.

It would suck to lose Schiano a year after losing Fickell, but part of the danger of having elite assistants/coordinators.

Edit: I re-worded the original question. I think most fans are pretty realistic in that Schiano's time with the Buckeyes will likely be over soon, it is just a matter of where, not when...
