First off let me say I am beyond hyped for this game.

There have been a number of threads discussing ways to win this game but I believe there is one major key to this game. Break the wills of Trace McSorley, Gesicki, and the PSU LBs. What I mean is never, ever let Gesicki off the LOS without getting cracked in the ribs.. If he is on the LOS the DE needs to give him a vicious(clean) shot in the ribs every play. The LBs need to be physical and the safeties need to hit him hard in the mid-section every time he has to stretch out. This is football.. this isn't calling for being dirty.. This is calling for clean hard nosed physical football.

To McSorley, We need to hit him when he runs, we need to collapse his pocket, and get in his head when it comes to reading the give vs keep. Physicality could cause him to mess up an exchange and turf the ball. We do need to be disciplined though to keep him from being successful scrambling.

PSU Linebackers. The TEs Baugh and Berry and the OL need to be vicious.. the PSU Linebackers are good and they bring it, but we have to run the ball to win. That means nastiness blocking the run, I want to see those linebackers planted on their asses early and often. I would also like to see their safety Marcus Allen get pancaked.

The more physical, disciplined team will win.
