This is one of those articles that could be revisited every year, and is a must read for any OSU fan.

When Ted Ginn was rumored to be playing for Ohio State(He was so fast I never saw him on the field)... A poster on another site.. brought up an interesting .. very interesting topic... 

The Number 7 and the 7th letter of the alphabet(hopefully it is still the 7th letter), the letter G.  

OSU has a very nice history of Great players wearing that number 7, who's last names also started with the letter G.  Reference the article above... and I would say it shows that in full effect...  IMHO, the #7, is Ohio State's best number when combined with the letter G for talented players who produce results..   

Ill let you decide for yourself after reading the article.. 

But when I saw we had a 5 star recruit with a last name of Gill... I thought.. I hope the equipment manager knows about this Mojo.. and Dwayne Haskins is given a history lesson and gives up his number to Mr. Gill...   Eddie George was 27.. which now Im stretching a bit... if Only Archie had been 47... Corny was #7, so I get the over lap there :-)...
