Perhaps it's my old age. Perhaps it's that I have three kids of my own. Perhaps I'm just tired of reading about horrible things. Whatever the case, this made me smile. Iowa has started a new tradition of waving to the kids during games as they are watching from the children's hospital that overlooks Kinnick Stadium. Yesterday, the Illini got in on the act. I'm hoping this will be a new tradition and look forward to watching the Buckeyes do it in a few weeks.
