In the last couple of weeks I have seen CFB Film Room pop up all over twitter, all over our comment section, and it is even infiltrating the ranks of the professionals paid to cover our football team. Each time I see their "rankings" and "stats," particularly of interior line play, I grit my teeth.  For the sake of simplicity, I'll just say I think the grading is so grossly off that I can't believe the person(s) grading our film has much of a clue of what they are doing.

It reminds me of when profootballfocus was in its infancy. Since then, those guys admitted they had no clue what they were doing in the beginning.  To be fair, I would love an awesome college football grading site but these guys seem to have a nice grasp on social media and SEO but they don't seem to have a clue when it comes to grading film.

When I pointed some of this out to them - and what seemed to be some serious bias- they countered with some extreme over-correction.  My main point is a site like this one ought to be used very carefully until they get a stamp of legitimacy from coaches and scouts.

Let me know your thoughts and I'll agree to shut my mouth from here on out every time somebody posts one of their tweets or a beat reporter asks a coach to comment on them.
