I never ever ever want OSU to lose. I am heartbroken when they lose. Walking out of Beaver Stadium last year (Sadly, I was at there), was of the worst feelings I have had. My stomach was in a knot and my brain just could not seem to process what had just happened. My dad and I said screw it to a hotel and drove 6 hours home, with only speaking to inform each other where the next exit on the interstate was. As usual, the whole next week I stayed offline. No ESPN, No Bleacher Report, No Eleven Warriors (sorry). Nothing. Anything that reminded me of that night, would be sure to bring back that nauseous feeling.

And then Saturday came. And something weird happened. I went to bed that Friday night telling myself I didn't care about the Northwestern game. But when I woke up Saturday with my palms already beginning to sweat, I knew I was back. And I was better than before. I looked through that days game lineup, and suddenly I cared about so many games. Every game mattered because OSU no longer controlled their own destiny. Throughout the rest of the season, I found myself jumping and screaming as some kid named Blewitt managed to not blow it against Clemson. I found myself distraught that Michigan lost (True story), and I gave a Tiger Woods fist pump as USC knocked off Washington.

Again, I never will want OSU to lose, and I will always be upset when it happens. However, I would have never been interested in those games had Penn State not beaten us. It has already started this year. Friday night I was a Washington State fan, and this week I will be a WVU fan.

We are all Buckeye fans, and we never want them to lose. But you have to admit. It does make the rest of the season far more interesting. Stay optimistic my friends!
