Wins on Saturdays are often determined by signed letters of intent over Februaries past. This piece is a look at the composite ratings of Saturday's starters that signed on the dotted line for UNLV and Ohio State.

RECRUITING RANKINGS: OHIO STATE'S OFF. STARTERS VS. UNLV'S DEF. STARTERS

If Howard was able to drop 43 on UNLV, Ohio State should score at least 50 points. J.T. Barrett typically puts up big numbers against inferior opponents and UNLV's defense meets that criteria.

OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE RECRUITING NOTES

  • UNLV's highest rated defensive starter is defensive end Jameer Outsey (.839).
  • The largest gap between these units is the 236 point difference between Ohio State's QB J.T. Barrett (.935) and the Running Rebel's Dalton Baker (.699).
  • The average of Ohio State's offensive starters is 159 points better than Army's defensive starters.
