Former Ohio State defensive tackle Michael Bennett was placed on injured reserve by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday in order to clear a spot for former Arizona State wide receiver Jaelen Strong on their 53-man roster.
We have claimed third-year WR @jaelenstrong.

To make room, we placed DT Michael Bennett on the reserve/injured list https://t.co/77TdeFMQ3b
Bennett was selected by the Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft and appeared in 13 games, recording 10 tackles, in his rookie season. Since then, however, Bennett has appeared in just one regular-season game. He spent all of last season on injured reserve with a calf injury and suffered a pectoral injury on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, his first and now last game of this season.
Bennett played for Ohio State from 2011-14.
