Enough with the QB controversy stuff. I think this team can still make and win the college football playoff if we can get back to our true identity of running the ball 40-50 times a game with the RBs (Weber and Dobbins.. not you JT). I'm still trying to figure out when we made the shift in philosophy that we need to throw the ball vertically to open up the run game. IMO, 2014 was more so about 'Fear the Zeke' than "Fear the Smith' (I heart you Devin Smith). I think Zeke opened up the vertical pass game, not the other way around. Through 2 games, Dobbins is averaging 6.0 YPC, Williams 6.3 YPC and Weber 9.7 YPC. The thing that pisses me off is we have only run the ball with the RBs on average 26 times per game. Not near enough IMO. I think the defense will be fine if we can get some dang ball control and keep them off the field for extended periods of time. Bottom line, IMO we need to RUN THE BALL WITH A RB and get back to OSUs strength... our RBs, run blocking and defense (that hasn't been on the field majority of the game). Go Bucks... The sun will rise tomorrow.
