First let me say I realize Barrett was injured in the middle of his High School senior year and missed half the season. But even so, his QB stats are terrible, especially compared to Joe Burrow.  I point this out because it should come as no surprise that the issues he has now, he has always had them.

I also realize Barrett has been at OSU for years now and has had a great deal of team success, but make no mistake, his shortcomings today have always existed.

In fact it should come as no surprise at all to anyone when you look at these stats that Barrett isnt a very good passing QB, he never was.

Burrow on the other hand has stats that are freaking incredible. A completion percentage of 72% vs. Barrett 53%, Burrow has 672 completions to just 17 picks and the list goes on......

Moreover, in the last two spring games Burrow and the 2's have soundly beaten Barrett and the 1's over the last two years.

I realize none of this necessary means anything, but then again, what we have seen from Barrett validates that he is what he has always been, and it is likely that Burrow is also, and Burrow was a lights out QB.
