So my memory is hazy, but maybe you all can help me sort through my confusion. I am fairly sure it was Damon Webb who consistently got picked on last year and gave up consistently large plays. But I also remember Ward doing the same thing. I know they play different positions but after Ward's performance last night my mind has just created this amalgamation of a DB with a four-letter W-surname and every time something bad happens to wither of them it confirms how awful this W-player is.
it's confusing. If Webb blows an assignment I'm like, "typical Webb." If Ward misses a tackle I'm like, "Geez, this guy has stunk all night."
Clearly the solution is that neither of them can ever make a mistake or it will feed into my weird confirmation bias.
