I sat on the OSU side in great seats on the 50, halfway up (40th row)...usually a section where people shell out decent amounts of money to sit. Some IU fans decided to try to double up in a couple seats/bully there way to 50 yard line seat when maybe only 1 of them actually had a ticket in the section. A Buckeye fan a couple row in front of them started to complain and argue with them. Another fan went and got an usher (a young scarred college kids) who asked these idiots to move. The Buckeye fan, told them to get moving and they shouted back and forth as the IU fans were leaving, when a IU fan came down and sucker punched the Buckeye fan straight in the face/nose. Blood everywhere!!! The IU dirtbag who had severe scars in the back of his head and looked like he knew his way around a jail cell, was slowed as he tried to take off and caught by the police. It was disgusting. A few 12-13 year olds behind us also mentioned they were harassed /yelled at by IU college students in the bathroom. I know all fan bases have the 10% who are idiots and god knows we're have ours, but a surprising amount of Indiana fans in what is usually a more tame section were completely embarrassing. A few other notes, Terry McLauren's Dad was right there and is super nice, Buckeye fans who were the majority kept their cool and were more respectful than I expected. The lighting at that stadium is horrible and I'm surprised it meets whatever minimum standard is. They shouldn't have night games there. Nice, clean campus, but I'll never go back there for a night game, hard to even see the ball from very good seats. Been to UM, MSU and now IU away games, and the IU fans were easily the worst. They must have been overly hyped and this was their Super Bowl...I did hear other Buckeye fans say they had no real issues in their section.
