TULSA'S OFFENSIVE NUMBERS

The Golden Hurricane entered the game as the nation's 36th-ranked offense in total yards (512.0) and averaged 45.0 points per game. Dane Evans and D'Angelo Brewer started hot, but the Buckeyes' defense eventually reigned. Or is that rained? 

Tulsa only scored 3 points and was held to 327 yards below its season average in total yards. Phil Montgomery's team only had 58 rushing yards and committed six turnovers.

TULSA'S DEFENSIVE NUMBERS

Ohio State gained 268 rushing yards against a Tulsa defense that yielded 53 yards in Week 1. The Buckeyes put up 48 points, but 14 were defensive scores.

Ohio State's offensive leaders were Mike Weber with a game-high 92 yards rushing (5.4 ypc) and a touchdown.  Curtis Samuel had a game-high 62 receiving yards and finished with 78 rushing yards (9.8 ypc). J.T. Barrett finished the game 14-of-22 (.636) for 149 yards. He also rushed for 55 yards and 2 touchdowns. 

TULSA'S SPECIAL TEAMS 

Bishop Louie had a 52 yard kickoff return and averaged 18.8 yards per return. He finished with 94 return yards on five attempts.

Dalton Parks punted 7 times for 276 yards and averaged 39.4 yards per punt. Redford Jones made his only field goal attempt in the 48-3 loss.
