Just thinking it was a great time to bring up how outstanding Urban's coaching tree is! I mean the guy is a product of great coaches himself and I think Tom Herman is meeting the criteria Mike Young suggested in this piece written a year or so ago.

His coaching tree expanded with Ash & Durkin becoming head coaches at Rutgers and Maryland respectively and Charlie Strong has proved that what he built at Louisville wasn't a fluke (Texas now has 3 straight wins over top 12 teams) and is again silencing doubters. Those kids love that man and have fully bought in and look at the results!

It seems like everywhere Urban goes and has been he elevates the standard for everyone around him, players, coaches, and staff...and then that standard lingers after he leaves... he has a pretty remarkable legacy thus far...and he could be at this another 15 years if he wanted to!
