Ohio State's offensive leaders were Mike Weber with 136 yards rushing (7.2 ypc). Curtis Samuel had a game-high 177 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. J.T. Barrett finished the game 21-of-31 (.677) for 349 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Barrett tied the Ohio State record for passing touchdowns in a game and set the all-time record with 7 total touchdowns.
Nine different receivers had receptions and accounted for seven touchdowns. The Buckeyes running game averaged 6.5 yards per carry and tallied three touchdowns.
BOWLING GREEN'S SPECIAL TEAMS
Joseph Davidson had a fine game punting as he averaged 46.6 yards per punt and had a long of 60. He consistently hit solid line drives that made it difficult for Ohio State's punt returners to get to the ball before it rolled. Kicker Jake Suder made his 33-yard field goal and extra point.
The Falcons' Scott Miller averaged 17.7 yards per return with a long of 26, but was frequently stopped inside the 25 yard line.
