They refer without quotes an article from ESPN's Travis Haney (article behind paywall) that Michigan State and Purdue might swap spots in the near future to try and even out the imbalance. Just looking at the recruiting charts provided show about as stark a reality as you could have about the discrepancy between the east and west.
