Brian Hartline lands another standout wide receiver as Kayden Dixon-Wyatt commits to Ohio State.
If you were to ignore all previous rankings and come up with a new set of rankings for the season after this past week just like the committee is supposed to do, what would your rankings be?
I would have:
1. Oklahoma: Just ran through three top teams in a row to win the Big 12
2. Michigan State: Followed their Ohio State win by destroying Penn State
3. Iowa: Unbeaten with wins over Wisconsin and Northwestern
4. Clemson: Unbeaten in the weakest power five conference with wins over ND and FSU
5. Ohio State: Defending champs with a three point loss to MSU in bad weather conditions coming off a dominating win over a solid Michigan team
6. Alabama: Loss to Ole Miss. Playing in arguably the second weakest power five conference. Best wins are Wisconsin and LSU
7. TCU: Losses to Oklahoma by 1 point and OkST. Coming off a good win vs Baylor
8. Northwestern: Wins over Stanford and Wisconsin with losses to Iowa and Michigan
9. Stanford: Wins over ND and USC with losses to Northwestern and Oregon
10. North Carolina: Unproven with a good record against bad competition playing in the weakest power five conference with a bad loss to South Carolina
