Sparty has had a pretty impressive two-season run, finishing the last two seasons as a top 5 team, and winning its last three bowl games over Baylor, Stanford, and TCU. They have owned their "big brother" and have even notched a B1G Championship win over an undefeated Buckeye team. However, even with that momentum they still have only the 28th ranked recruiting class in the country and they've lost their five-star DC Narduzzi. With Harbaugh in place in AA, Franklin making noise at PSU, and The Urban Machine roaring in Columbus is Sparty on the down slope, or have they established themselves as an elite program that can actually contend for a playoff spot every year? My guess is they've peaked and are on the way down.
