Interesting that Bama/Oklahoma was the most watched first round gane in two seasons, even better than Ohio State/Tennessee last year.
A 7% drop in viewership is not good. But the NFL dominates the airwaves almost every day this time of year (except around New Years).
Moving the first round of CFP games up is what needs to happen. Get the quarters to the week of Army/Navy, have the semis Friday and Saturday noon before Christmas, and the CFP final on or around New Years Day. The sooner they make these changes, the better for college football.
