Okay, assuming Cardale does indeed go pro, the QB picture for next year clears a bit, but only a bit. Miller has the improvisational skills and the ankle-breaking shiftiness. Barrett has the patience, leadership and game management skills. The question is, do Meyer, Warriner and Beck go with a platoon next year?

Personally, I've never been a fan of platooning at QB. That's the one position where you need the most consistency. I would prefer an honest, straight-up choice, and then let the chips fall where they may. Assuming Braxton doesn't transfer to FSU Oregon Duke LSU the Sam Houston Institute of Technology, what say you?
